A plastic clip/spring from an ipod holder fell into my cars air vent.Where did it go & will it damage the car?

Does it need to be removed? How can I find and remove it? Will it damage the car? The air in the vent is obviously hot! Will the clip melt? Thanks!

Get yourself a vacuum cleaner and rig up a piece of black vacuum
hose (about 3 feet ) $ 1.00 per foot to the end of the vacuum nozzle slide it down the duct and you should be able to suck that little piece right up..
