Is it possible to run emulators (for SNES, Game Boy or Game Boy Advance for example) on an iPod classic?

I have a 6th generation, 2nd revision 160GB iPod Classic that I just bought. I am aware these can be used as external hard drives. Is it possible to run emulators on iPod classic (NOT iPhone or iPod Touch)? Thanks in advance for your help, guys!

Not as a program on the ipod, but on a computer linked to the ipod is fine.
