Im 13. Ive got an iPod touch for xmas but where do I get games from for it (like on the ad) Can they be free?

Please help me as I want games. Im downloading songs from CDs. Also do I just drag and drop the songs I want onto where it says 'Alyshas iPod' like with the iPod shuffle??? PLEASE help.
To get games go onto the iTunes store in iTunes and on the left there is a box labeled "iTunes Store" at the bottom of the box is a link that says "Apps" click on it. Then the second box on the left labeled "Categories" there
