How do I delete all the songs off my ipod mini which arent showing in the library?

I recently got a new computer so i downloaded itunes. I plugged in my ipod mini, but none of the songs showed in the library. Most of them had been downloaded off limewire, how do i delete them and just start over as if it was a new ipod mini with nothing
