I have an older desktop about 2 and 1/2 yrs old. it has a relatievely large hard drive in it and i also have a terabyte external hard drive. I basically want to know what the easiest way is to set that computer up to basically share files to all my other
get logmein free (free!)
its the best way for web sharing from local machine, as long as its just you using it.
then
set up file and print sharing on that machine, and share the root of the drive you want to share,so it can be accessed

Desktop hard drives holding 1 terabyte, or 1,000 gigabytes, of storage will likely debut in 2006, according to BillHealy, senior vice president of product strategy and marketing at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. These drives, which will have a 3.5-inch diameter, are expected to be incorporated into PCs and home servers.
