How to setup DNS server so that I can type a host name on internet browser instead of IP add?

Do I use CNAME or Host (A)?

For instance, everytime I type ip address 192.168.0.1 on internet browser, it would bring me to an internal webpage. What do I have to do on DNS server so that it would bring me to 192.168.0.1 everytime I type
