and ipod what? They have nano, shuffle and etc. etc. She does not need a ton of gb's.

She wants some books and some music on it... Not just music and not just books. But both.

The ipod touch does all of that and more. They have an 8gb, 32, and 64. There's also the iPad, which would be better if she plans on reading a lot of books, since it is bigger. Both do the same things, the only big difference is their size.
