Can you put iPhone apps on new ipod nano?

I just got the new touch nano and I'm wondering if you can just download regular iPhone/iPod touch apps on it or just iPod apps or none at all.

There is no such ipod as a 'touch nano' , it's either an ipod touch or an ipod nano....now that the confusion is gone the answer is No. Apps are only for IPOD TOUCHES AND IPHONES.
