What is the best Windows operating system for a cluster?

What is the best version of Windows to use in a cluster, Windows XP, Windows 7, or Windows HPC Server 2008. Or if there is another one let me know.
Windows breaks like glass but if you must I'd go with whatever is the latest Windows Server Edition.
