What is the latest MAC OS X for an Intel G5 Mac computer?

My cousin's brother has a MAC OS X 10.5.8, I know this is kinda old because lots of MAC software don't work on this one and I'd want to tell him which is the latest for his MAC.

So, MAC owners, help please?

Firstly, just as FYI - G5 is NOT an Intel processor.

The most recent version of Mac OS X one can run on a G5 processor is v10.5 (Leopard).

The latest and greatest version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) requires an Intel processor and will
