How to dual boot windows 7 and osx on my pc?

So apparently it's easy to install osx on a pc. I have a laptop pavilion dv9700 with 4 gigs of ram and an intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz. Is this good enough? Also I only have one 250 gig HDD and a 14 gig side drive. Is it okay to partition part of my 250 gig

You cannot dual boot the pc with osx, unfoutunatly osx will only run on a mac unless you use a modified copy. You could buy a mac and install windows as they have built in compatability, whereas pcs' don't.
