Is it just my ipod 4th gen, or does it have really poor battery capacity than the Nano 3rd gen?

I own both a 3rd and 4th gen iPod Nano. The 4th generation Nano's battery goes flat within a day. Whereas my 3rd gen lasts days. I'm wandering if its a fault, or if all 4th gen nano's are the same?

It could be that the 4th gen uses more battery due to the higher colour resolution on the lcd screen. To get the most out of your battery life, I suggest turning the brightness to the lowest setting, and setting the backlight to the shortest display
