How do I access a ubuntu samba server from the internet thats behind an airport extreme?

I have a samba server that works just fine on a local network, but I want to be able to access it from the internet. I have tried forwarding ports on my airport extreme (137, 138, 139, 445), but I still can't access it from the internet. Does anyone have

Check with your ISP first. Some ISPs block NETBIOS traffic because of vulnerabilities.

Another possibility is that your Samba server is setup to only allow hosts from your local network. Check your server security settings in your smb.conf
